Eid Mubarek to All!!!! What did I do today? I mostly ate and prayed. And then ate some more!! That's the Eid spirit! WOOHOO! :o)

Other news: I am starting a new job!!! After four interviews my darling IT company finally decided to take the ultimate risk and hire me: hyperactive Nura! So I am the marketing communications specialist for the firm, working as the right hand of the marketing manager and I could not be more excited. Finally I am learning to follow my passions instead of always needing for rationality and security. And it feels great!! Now not only do I have a routine but I finally finally finally have the stability I have been raving and ranting about all year! Alhamdullah ya rab!!! I suppose good things do come to those who wait - even those who wait impatiently!!!

Wishing you all the best on this Eid and all my warmest blessings to your families!!

Mabrouka 3aliki ya Nura this is so heartwarming...I have this problem as well of balancing security with what I really desire. One of these days I'm gonna go crazy :) ...but I guess it is because I don't only have myself to worry about, that's a big problem...I'm so happy for you , you deserve every bit !!!!!!

Gratz Nura, on the new job! You're so fast! I've been thinking about changing jobs since before you even moved to Canada, and here I am... still thinking :P

Thank you all for your warm thoughts and congratulations, it is very touching! :o)

Highlander, I have worked all my life to master the art of balancing the elders' needs and my own wants - and you know what, it is more possible than we think!!! :o) Where there is a will there is a way, I encourage you to go crazy and follow those passions of yours (within Islamic limits of course.. AHEM!)!!

Craig, do it do it do it.. the least you can do is search, right? Tip your toe in the new pond and see what there is, if its interesting enough then be brave and put your whole foot in!!!

It is the end of my first day of work and I am exhausted! I forgot how tiring it all is.. even though I sat down most of the day and did almost nothing!!! :o)

Alf salam!
